The Civil Service College is running short, complementary seminars on different subject areas based on some of our programmes.
First session is Wednesday 18 February on topic of Building and Leading Authentic Organisations.
Being an authentic organisation has been proven to markedly increase performance. This means addressing the 'elephant in the room', having straight conversations about what matters for success, and securing real buy-in to change. Authenticity is a powerful and largely untapped source of engagement, commitment and resourcefulness from employees. It creates a more trustworthy and comfortable environment, which can boost performance by almost 20%. It has delivered in the public sector, including improving performance and the reporting of mistakes in hospitals.
This seminar is a taster session will explore:
- How authenticity can raise employee engagement and commitment
- Why leadership needs authenticity
- How to release the energy and resourcefulness of employees in testing times
Trainer - Robin Ryde
