Multiple studies spanning across decades has shown that practising equality, diversity and inclusion has a direct link to the growth and prosperity of organisations, its people and the wider society. However every sector is facing a diversity deficit, and it is worrying that despite increased public and shareholder pressure to address the lack of diversity within the public sector, we are seeing little or no change.

At Civil Service college we follow the Civil Service Diversity and Inclusion Strategy that set a new standard for diversity and inclusion, championing a diversity of backgrounds and opinions to better promote fairness and performance.
