Confusion in Whitehall as Civil Servants Don't Know Which Party to Advise

In the run up to the general election the civil service is facing difficulties when dealing with requests for information from the two parties of the coalition government. There is a fear that the Liberal Democrats will face unfair treatment as the Conservative government attempts to block off information in order to maintain a political advantage.
