On Thursday 8th June 2017 Civil Service College were delighted to meet with a 12 member delegation of the Gyeonggi Province of South Korea. The meeting was facilitated by the Embassy of the Republic of Korea.
The Gyeonggi Province delegates have been focusing on structuring its human resource development strategy within a five year plan, as to cultivate civil servants who are better equipped to ensure long-term positive policy formation. The purpose of the meeting was to give insight and better understanding of the education and training system of civil servants in the UK.
Chief Executive of Civil Service College, Sonny Leong CBE, said: “We are pleased to have hosted this meeting with the delegation from Gyeonggi Provincial Government in Korea, led by Vice Governor Jae-Yul Lee. We discussed opportunities for co-operation and collaboration between Civil Service College and the Provincial Government in areas of training for senior public officials. We look forward to further engagement in the years ahead.”
