Assertiveness for Women
"I really appreciated the way the trainer adapted to meet the needs of those in the room, from that we've built a little group of people keen to stay in touch and coach each other along."
UKRI
Often women struggle with confidence at work, and are not able to appreciate their strengths. This makes is harder for them to behave in a confident and assertive way in the workplace. A lack of confidence can be accentuated by a feeling that they are not being heard at work (or seen), and that others are getting the limelight and taking the credit.
This course is for women who want to feel more confident and more assertive (not aggressive) in the workplace, to make sure that they can get their voices heard around the table, to be visible and to apply for/get the roles that they really want.
'Assertiveness for Women: How to build your confidence in the workplace is from the Professional Development Skills series. At the Civil Service College, we tailor our courses to each participant’s role and organisation, ensuring that each participant gets the most out of the training. Our courses and trainers are continuously updated and evaluated to ensure that we are always delivering the best service possible.
This course is for women who want to feel more confident and more assertive (not aggressive!) in the workplace, and to make sure that they can get their voices heard around the table. The course is suitable for women at any level of the organisation.
